Dogs Rule

How could I say no this this?!

Hello to all my lovely friends and family!

I know yall are already aware of this fact, but Brandon and I got a new puppy about 2 and a half months ago. Now, as most of you know I am truly more of a cat person but I LOVE doggies too and I couldn't stand it when our neighbors brought this cute little white puppy dog to our house and said they needed to give her away or she would have to the taken to P.A.W.S (Rutherford Co. Humane Society)

SO, our neighbors had been calling her Kenzie because she favored the dog from the late 80's Budweiser commercials, Spuds McKenzie. I decided to google this and decided she did in fact look somewhat alike. I liked the name Kenzie, plus it was already picked out, so I made the decision to stick with it! Brandon said he didn't care. (surprise)

How could I say no this this?!
How could I say no this this?!
We had officially become new puppy owners rather quickly. I realized we would have to do the whole potty training thing. I started asking around and doing some research to figure out the best ways. She learned pretty fast! And when she did go potty inside, it was normally dueces on the hardwood which at least isn't too difficult to clean up. (I know you all really wanted to know that) We bought her several new puppy toys and she especially loves the squeaky ones. Her favorite toy however is a plastic gatorade bottle(s). I could go on and on about her and go into detail about all the things she does that are so cute but also all the things she does that annoy the p out of me. I won't do that but instead I'll just make some lists:

Why I love Kenzie Kenzie Bo Benzie
      ·         She’s always so happy to see me when I get home
·         She has such a cute little face
·         She barks when people come to the door, which makes me feel safe
·         She makes Brandon a more playful person and it’s so cute

Why the dog annoys the hell outta me:

·         She jumps all over me as soon as I walk in the door

·         She’s white and looks dirty all the time

·         She squeaks her toys at all hours of the day and night (no more squeaky toys)

·         Her nails grow really fast and have to be trimmed all time

So really there are probably more bullet points for each list but I got tired of thinking. I guess all in all she's good little puppy and I'm so glad we have her, although sometimes I just want to send her on an extended vaca to my parents!!! But of course I'd want her bacckk. I'm not that mean. I shall leave you with some recent pictures of her and B and also a video that is rather long but so funny. Brandon is chasing her around and making barking noises. She has sort of a howlish bark and it cracks me up everytime.

I just thought this was funny bc of the way Brandon is sleeping

She is so freakin' spoiled!

Just can't stand it!

I just can't stand it anymore; I suppose I shall start a blog. Although I'm not so sure my life is exciting enough to have reached "blog status", I am partly doing this because I have people who I want to talk to everyday, but can't. (Unless of course, I call them) I personally love talking on the phone, but most normal people don't. So I figured I could keep up with my long distance friends and family easier this way. And also my close distance friends and family :)

I would just like to mention some of those important people in my life who have moved themselves across the country (or state). I am honestly so happy and proud of you guys because I'm not so sure this is something I could ever do. BUT anywhoo:

Douglas Brown in KCMO
Jill Quatrini in NYC
Ariel Jones in Portland, OR
Hallie Gladstone in Starkville, MS
Annie Pate in Black Mountain, NC

These are some of my bff's and although I don't see them like I used too, I think about them ALLL the time. I have visited almost everyone on this list! Annie and Ariel-I promise to come soon. How nice is it to have friends in awesome locales to visit?! I tell you what man, I am SO lucky!

Not only do I have bff's who live in some awesome locales, but Brandon and I have family as well who live in some pretty sweet spots.

Aunt Marie, Aunt Jo Jo, and my Granny in Fairfield, CA
Uncle Bo and Aunt Carol in Walnut Creek, CA
B's Aunt D, Cousins, and Grandma in various parts of AZ (still on the list to visit!)

Can anyone tell how much I like traveling?! It's been too long since I've gone anywhere and I'm itchin' to go, hopefully Knoxville in October will suffice until next year ;)
